Each Summer our firm hires several interns to assist us with School District audits. We have found this to be a very mutually beneficial arrangement. It is a great opportunity for students "to get their feet wet" in the area of governmental auditing. We have finished selecting interns for the 2021 summer audit season, but feel free to provide us with your application that will be considered for the 2022 audit season as well as opportunities that may arise throughout the year.
These internships are paid positions. Additionally, we will work with your University to provide you with College credit, if that is possible. These positions are full-time beginning in June and running until late August (we are flexible based on when students are returning to school). These positions also include a substantial amount of travel. The schools that we audit are mostly in central Illinois, but we do have several audits that are more than 1 1/2 hours drive from our office. On those occasions, we provide overnight accommodations and meals.
If you have questions about available positions or would like to send us your resume please contact Cameron Ehnle.
